In 2025, I spent a year photographing life and landscapes along the Bronx River in Tuckahoe, New York. 

I cleverly titled the project.... 

 

 A Year by the River.

 

This was my first exploration with conservation photography - that is, the visual storytelling of a place, a species, and an ecosystem, etc.  to advocate, educate and inspire action. 

I created these products with some of my favorite images I took during A Year by the River. They are a way for me to give back to the Bronx River, with 10% of all sales going to the Bronx River Alliance, an organization actually doing the hard work to improve and restore the Bronx River so that it can be a healthy and happy ecosystem for the wildlife and humans who rely on it.
