Listen carefully… can you hear the Earth speak?
No — not in words. But the Earth communicates powerful messages that remind us to slow down, release, return to balance, and grow. It’s up to us to listen, interpret these messages, and then apply the lessons directly to our lives.
As a nature photographer, I spend countless hours observing the natural world - sometimes behind the lens, and other times reflecting on the images I’ve captured. You could say I’m a little obsessed with sharing Nature’s beauty… and you’d be right.
It is one of the reasons I created this...

The first Rooted in Nature issue was released in Autumn 2025 and although I was unsure what would come of it, it was a success - at least in my eyes.
Over 50 people from around the world downloaded it, which was more than I anticipated!
If you were one of those people, thank you so much! Although it was not perfect, I hope you found at least one thing, maybe an image, or a journal prompt, inspiring or helpful.
I am excited to share the Winter edition of Rooted in Nature with you.
It explores Winter as the season of Slowness, and softly encourages you think
about your relationship with the word Slow.

Meet the Photographer and Author

Hi there. I am Leslie Archambault.
As a creative, my love is to not only photograph nature but to also use my photography as way to help others feel at ease and grow. My photographic process is largely intuitive and I find hidden meaning and lessons in many of my images. And sometimes, I feel compelled to share these thoughts with you through my website, social media and now through my seasonal Rooted in Nature series.
Rooted in Nature grew from my love of journaling and capturing the contemplative lessons found in nature. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the rhythm of the natural world.
